A creative agency built on the principles of behaviour change

About

Our story

Picture
Paul Fishlock was a co-founder of BMF (the F) and former ECD and Chairman of The Campaign Palace. For years it baffled him why creative agencies didn’t embrace behavioural science. If our job is to change behaviour, why ignore the field that studies it? So, in 2011, he founded a new boutique creative agency built on the credible, proven principles of behaviour change.

Approach

Picture

Every marketing problem is a behaviour change problem

Strategy, creative and production are either in-house or through project teams put together from our network of partners. Most work is direct to clients but we also provide strategic and creative services to agencies and alternative points of view for clients with existing agency relationships.

> Anti-ageism
Behaviour Change Partners works with The Benevolent Society on the anti-ageism campaign, EveryAGE Counts. We wrote the strategic communications and marketing plan and have developed assets including a campaign video, an online quiz, a magazine and Ageism Awareness Day

> LiveLighter
Our multi-channel obesity campaign showing toxic fat around vital organs was originally created for WA Health but has now also run around Australia and overseas. It won Best Insight and Grand Prix at the inaugural Marketing Science Awards

> International Kidney Cancer Coalition
We have been creating multi-language campaigns for World Kidney Cancer Day since its inception. In 2021, we helped develop data-mapping that enables kidney cancer patients to see a snapshot of their mental health status by creating a personalised psychosocial wellbeing report.

> Vital Strategies
Behaviour Change Partners works with US-based Vital Strategies (principal partner of Bloomberg Philanthropies) on public health programs for the developing world. Many are confidential, but one we can share is an advocacy campaign that supported new legislation to ban trans fat in India’s food system

>  CanTeen
We ran an organisation-wide Strategic Brand Review for young people’s cancer charity, CanTeen. From this we developed a new brand positioning and brand identity which was applied across all touch points including an integrated comms campaign, led by 60 sec cinema and digital

We have created campaigns for several clients representing Aboriginal art. They include ‘Fake Art Harms Culture’ and ‘Our Art is our Lifeline’ for the Indigenous Art Code and ‘Money Story’ to increase access to legal services by First Nations artists for Arts Law | Artist in the Black.
